Nudge?

Like it All
Whoah, I got nudged! I think that may have been my first "official" nudge! ;)

So, um, my immediate news is that I stopped at Taco Bell on my way home, and placed my usual order, and instead of the "NO sour cream", which I make very clear, I not only got sour cream, I got charged for EXTRA sour cream! Bunch of DICKS!!!

In other news, I've had a crazy busy week. I have to wake up in approximately 4 hours for the garage sale my sister & I are having at her house. She has Bloody Mary fixin's, and I have Mimosa fixin's, which should make the 4 hours of sleep run much smoother than usual.

I promise to make a proper update soon...I apparently deleted my "drunk post" icon, which means I need to mention within the body of the post that I am, in fact, drunk. Hey, an out of town friend's band was playing in town, what can I say?

I am now going to resort to possibly illegal tasks, and wait for my hot, hot boyfriend to get home and do me. :x

I hope the rest of you have had as awesome a day/night that I have. :)

Here's me & Ty, and my new "short" hair, at my sister's first patio party on her new patio, at her new house. :)

Work is insane, hence the lack of posting recently. :/

Today's e-mail exchange between my sister and I:

Her:

Do you think you could help me plant flowers this spring?

Me:

What kind of flowers do you want to plant?

Her:

I dunno.. guess I'll have to just buy a bunch of them.. just colorful ones.. and preferably cheap.

Me:

We can go shopping together one of these weekends, if you want. Also, I might be able to dig up and split some of my flowers for ya.

Her:

Sounds good.. how soon do I have to plan them? I still have a good month.. right? I need to wait until we get paid again after this time!

Me:

Well, it depends on what you want to plant, but I plant stuff all summer long. I usually try to wait until late april or early may to put new plants in, to make SURE there aren't any more frosts.

Her:

cool.. so I still have some time..

Me:

Plenty. :)

Her:

cool.. maybe I'll get my mileage check sometime soon.. then I can start thinking about it.. what are those little plants that everyone has in their yards? The ones that are cheap and come in all different colors? That's what I want.. but for the back of the house if that makes sense.. if Giz eats them I'll kill him! I suppose I could get something for the front too.. but we are actually looking at two houses tomorrow night so I don't know how long we'll be living here.

-end of exchange-

Here's the part I need help with.

what are those little plants that everyone has in their yards? The ones that are cheap and come in all different colors?

What could she be talking about? Marigolds, maybe? (Ewww...all she wants is Marigolds?)

P.S. This type of conversation is typical of my sister and I. She seriously cracks me up. I love her to pieces.

I wish I had saved the "Do Deers have Ears?" conversation from long, long ago.

Last night, it dawned on me that I've had my LJ for a year now. I had realized, a couple of weeks ago, that it was coming up on a year, but I forgot all about it until last night, when I was sitting on my sister-in-law's couch at her birthday party, and remembered writing an entry after attending her birthday party last year.

A small handful of you have been here since the start of my LJ. One of you is responsible for introducing me to LJ.

All of you have touched my life in one way or another. I want to thank you, each of you, even if you're new to my journal, for everything you've done for me. You've given me support, advice, friendship, smiles, laughter, knowledge, courage, strength, silliness, love, and friendship. I'm often humbled, and so grateful, by the friendships I've made over such a medium. Most of you, I'll never meet in person, and yet, here you are, sharing my experiences, thoughts, and feelings.

It's been quite a year. Thanks for being a part of it.

Yeek! So...my job is going to be totally insane between now and the end of the year. This is good of course, because being busy means that I'm in no danger of having my position eliminated. However, it means that I won't get to refresh my friends page every 10 minutes throughout the work day. Dang.

I have a pimple on my nose right where the nose pad for my glasses rests. It HUUUUURTS!!!

So tonight while Ry is out with the ex, I'll either be hanging with Lance or working on his birthday present some more. Oh, I haven't disclosed what that is here yet have I?

Well here goes! )

My mom and my sister are two of my favorite women, but sometimes, they just don't get it.
